About us
Ruairi Wiseman and Shane Murray co-founded Iapetus Exploration and Mining Services in an effort to connect ambitious and eager geologists from the Northern hemisphere with successful mining and exploration companies here in WA.
We have combined experience across the whole mine value chain, particularly in mine geology, exploration and resource development covering multiple commodities. It is one of our core company values that this knowledge be made accessible to all IEMS employees.
Our company is run by geologists, for geologists, with an aim to provide the geology departments of our clients with the next generation of quality mining professionals.
As such, all our geologists are provided with an array of in-house training courses in mining software, AC/RC and Diamond logging, rig management, QAQC and data entry before they commence work, so they can hit the ground running and minimize training time on site.
